Christina Tchamanian
Program Director
Welcome to South Shores Recovery! My name is Christina T, and I am honored to serve as the Program Director here at South Shores Recovery. This place holds a special significance in my heart as it is where I began my own journey to sobriety years ago. From the moment I walked through these doors, I felt a profound sense of belonging and family, which continues to inspire me every day.
My passion lies in helping individuals at all stages of their recovery, with a particular focus on the critical first 30 days. I understand firsthand the challenges and triumphs of this initial period and am dedicated to providing the support and guidance needed to navigate it successfully.
I earned my education in counseling from Cal Southern University and InterCoast College, where I graduated. My commitment to professional growth is ongoing, as I continually seek out opportunities for further education, whether through business classes or specialized workshops in counseling.
With over five years of experience in this field, my journey working in this field began humbly as a driver. From there, I advanced through various roles including Case Manager, Admissions, and Program Manager, ultimately becoming the Program Director. Along the way, I have obtained my credentials in drug and alcohol counseling, equipping me with the knowledge and skills to effectively support our clients.
At South Shores Recovery, we believe in the power of community and personalized care. My goal is to ensure that each person who walks through our doors receives the compassionate and comprehensive support they need to achieve lasting recovery. Thank you for entrusting us with your journey; together, we can make a difference.
