Travis Dumpf is the Compliance Officer for South Shores, and is an original team member since our launch in 2015. Travis oversees a broad range of operational necessities at South Shores, often from behind the scenes, such as Environment of Care, our EMR system, Policies and Procedures, Employee Education, and Licensing requirements for our facilities. We rely on Travis’ intelligence and broad knowledge to supply us with the answers we need to navigate our ever changing business environment, as well as his versatility to fill in any role or situation we may need him for. Travis’ 12-year background in Real Estate and Finance have contributed to his strengths in being detail oriented, and understanding the causality of how all the small pieces connect for the operation as a whole. Travis has walked the road of recovery himself. After struggling with sobriety for many years, Travis found a rekindled relationship with his Higher Power, fellowship and strength in the 12-step community, and immersed himself in ‘giving back’ through volunteer work and a new career path in Substance Abuse Health Care. In his own words, “I know what it’s like to not get it on the first try. I still remember how I felt, and empathize with those who feel hopeless. I know that perseverance, faith (in both God and Family), always keeping an open mind to suggestions and positive influence, and looking for a bright side and opportunity to learn from any situation, are the foundations of my successful recovery.” You can often find Travis enjoying outdoor activities such as paddle boarding, camping, snowboarding, boating, the river, surfing and volleyball, or simply spending time with family and his dogs.
